Our Scientific Services and Environmental Consents Team provide the environmental liaison, monitoring expertise, instrumentation maintenance, data processing, analysis and environmental sampling to ensure environmental regulatory conditions are met and that the surrounding environment is protected.

WATER QUALITY SAMPLING

The team are experts in the capture and collection of water quality sampling, including routine sampling and sampling as a result of environmental incidents.

Sampling can include ground water, surface water, sewage and silt and provides the evidence required to demonstrate environmental responsibilities are being met. We use UKAS accredited laboratories for analysis.

ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

Dust, noise, emissions and light are factors that can require close monitoring as part of any planning consent. Working with specialist contract partners and UKAS accredited laboratories, the team install and maintain systems, to monitor the potential polluting factors from projects.

MCERTS MANAGEMENT

MCERTS monitoring requirements are being increasingly incorporated into permitting conditions and require a formal management plan and strict maintenance requirements to ensure compliance. The team assist in the production of management plans and subsequent maintenance and compliance monitoring of MCERT accredited meters.

DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING

The compiling and analysis of data sets allows early identification of trends and proactive intervention, to ensure environmental requirements are adhered to. It also allows the optimisation of processes to yield efficiencies and cost savings.

Our team also have an acute understanding in the formats and requirements for routine data returns to regulatory bodies, and can assist in their production to ensure deliverables are of high standard.
